Strategy

Starting from a strictly horizontal plane, randomly spawning flight fish enter from the left and right sides of the screen, with parry-able pink variants every so ofttimes. Two hits from a pea shooter are enough to pop them. Ii barnacles who shoot projectiles in threes, ii arching left and right and one directly up and at varying heights dependent on the vertical position of the actor, sit down on a plane relative to the actor and on a box a brusk hops distance from the basis. These require a fully charged shot to kill.

From the box, at that place are urchins with small black feet running effectually on a descending staircase. A coin hovers to a higher place the showtime incline that requires a dash or parry to acquire. Be wary to random flying fish and a third barnacle at the penultimate step. Massive (invincible) venereal with platforms on their backs walk an elongated straight of land, which is also populated by urchins. Around midway through, a coin is floating at a height which requires the help of a crab or parry. Again, watch for flight fish.

Flying fish cease at the finish of the boardwalk and the showtime of the pier. At present, precarious jumps are required lest the player fall into the water for i damage. On the first pier an urchin is walking (information technology might be best to kill him to forbid hassle from an impending threat). Now, Captain Krustacean, a massive lobster with beard, will backstroke toward the player. Either jump over or fume-grenade through him. Upon reaching the cease of his backstroke, he fires a lighting bolt that heads toward the location that the player was standing beforehand. Only afterward taking two charged shots worth of impairment will Helm Krustacean submerge into the body of water once more. Beware: he will return upon entering new sections of the expanse. Further, starfish (some parry-able) float upward from the bottom of the screen.

At the end of the first pier lies a beacon topped with a parry-able signal light; you lot must parry it to get the money in a higher place. To its right, another barnacle. Using a box suspended by a crane, left of the barnacle, may show advantageous for dealing with vollies from the aforementioned barnacle and Captain Krustacean. Next, another box is suspended to bridge the piers. A pink starfish will float up in front of some other buoy, prime number for building Super on the fashion to a lonely mail service.

Now reaching the boat, The Zillian, Captain Krustacean will leave for good. Check within the interior for the fourth money. On top, a terminal urchin scurries.

Platforms in the form of an octopus holding flotsam driftwood crave a dash to reach. They volition sink after landing. At the cease lies an octopus, impaled by an ballast and topped with a parry-able gem. To go it moving, parry the gem and the octopus will shoot a cannon ball to destroy the stone. An oyster will begin firing slo- moving projectiles in the shape of pearls, ane at the apex of Cuphead's leap height and another level with the player's standing position. Tiny shrimp brainstorm to bung toward the role player from the right side of the screen at 45-caste angles; employ the viii-shot or homing shot to impale them efficiently, and picket for pinkish ones. Most importantly, be sure to continue parrying the pink precious stone or the octopus will sink! Farther, information technology is best to parry the precious stone to dodge the oyster's low-flying energy pearls. The final money will appear just before the cease of the level. A wel- timed parry from either a tentacle or the ballast is required.

After an exasperating amount of time, the octopus reaches country. Jump to information technology and you win.

Trivia

  • There is a glitch where if you lot die the Perilous Pearl Shooters volition still announced in the background
  • This is the simply RnG to accept 2 "Trivial Helpers", though the Massive Crabs can hurt you, they count as helpers due to the fact of them helping you get across.
  • In the background during the octopus sequence, there is a hotel that has a sign that says "Iwerks". This is a reference to American Animator, Ub Iwerks, co-creator of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, and Flip the Frog.
  • The billboard advertising "Tyrus Gardens" is a shoutout to Tyrus Wong, the lead background creative person for Disney's Bambi.
  • Likewise, in that location is also a building that has a sign that says "Moldenhauer", a reference to the last names of the creators of Cuphead, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer.
  • If you look closely, y'all can discover "Moldenhauer Dock", named afterwards the game's creators, a sign for Tyrus Gardens named after Bambi animator & lead creative person Tyrus Wong, Hotel Iwerks which is named after Mickey Mouse co-creator Ub Iwerks, and Top Shipping, named later on the brand Wile Coyote uses to catch the Roadrunner in his cartoons.
  • This is the only nautical Run due north' Gun level in the game.
  • It has been erroneously speculated that the Crabby Clawsters were originally going to be used for the scrapped Airship Crab boss, due to the employ of the give-and-take "Crab" within the code. Similarly, the oysters and barnacles were speculated to exist for the Balloon Clam level, as the lawmaking uses "barnacles" and oysters could take been synonymous with clam.
    • While parts of the IDs are similar (crab, barnacle, and mollusk), anything else in the code or files that could ostend this theory, conflicts with information technology instead. Animations don't line upward (missing entirely or are completely different from what would have been needed), assets are significantly tiny in comparison to the size of the other bosses, and there is no link between the files bachelor for the Airship fights and the files for the platforming levels.
